I am not sure Fabio. I would go with the values in the BOM.

BTW, I have a spare Sowter iron set for this project if anyone interested... for very good price.

Hi group! My first post here. I am finally getting to building this unit!

I have a question about the mains fuse for US. What value are people using? Give the rating for the 2 transformer taps I am thinking of using a 3A fuse. Any ideas?

Thanks! Charles

Hello,
I want to try to install the Igor's ms bypass board in the VK1, is it possible to connect it? I'll use the lundahl transformers.
Ciao

Sure, why not. Put it in between the XLRs and main PCB or audio transformers.

R3, R4 and R13 are 1W on the schematic and 2W in the B.O.M. but VR104 seems to be a 1/2W. Is it a problem? Will it burn slowly with time?
Pierre.
